July 27'th,chesterns.ca-------------------Well folks this is it.Some of you may have heard about this project for a couple of weeks now and after discussions and working the bugs out we are finally up and running thanks to the chesterns.ca webmaster.We are still in the beta stage so bear with us as we tune up and streamline the site.Above are some sample photos courtesy of chesterns.ca.
The aim of the site is for juniour sailors and their CYC counterparts to post content of their own for informational,educational and promotional purposes.And perhaps a little music,poetry or other writings as well.The Juniours will also have immediate access to chesterns.ca's weather and tide info along with all of our other handy links,especially those that are marine related. The site was made possible through the generosity of individuals and business interests in the Chester area.You will see their names in a section on the site.There are still a few openings if you are interested in supporting this worthwhile cause.It will feature news,photos,videos and other sailing information mainly from the kids point of view.We have formulated rules for contributors to the site to follow and along with some of the kids,at least four adults will be policing the site.May common sense and good taste prevail.
